We&#8217;re dependent on each other. We ain&#8217;t the public!\u201d<\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>So the public is OUTSIDE the government and how did they get you INSIDE the government? Oh ya, benefits&#8230;.that you applied for??? Ya think?<\/p>\n<p>Civil servants vs. public servants&#8230;.. civil PERSONS vs private persons&#8230;.. civil law vs common law<\/p>\n<p>Did you join a civil society and leave\u00a0the\u00a0common law without knowing it?<\/p>\n<p>Another movie that stuck in my mind was &#8220;Starship Troopers&#8221; featuring a fascist state going to glorious war and &#8220;<strong>Federation citizenship is not a birthright, but a privilege<\/strong> <strong>earned<\/strong> <strong>by those who serve society through such activities as military service<\/strong>; citizens are granted many opportunities prohibited to non-citizens.&#8221; \u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Starship_Troopers_%28film%29\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Starship_Troopers_%28film%29<\/a><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>While the original novel has been accused of promoting militarism, fascism and military rule;<sup id=\"cite_ref-4\">[5]<\/sup><sup id=\"cite_ref-5\">[6]<\/sup><sup id=\"cite_ref-6\">[7]<\/sup> the film satirizes these concepts by featuring news reports that are intensely fascist, xenophobic and propagandistic. Verhoeven stated in 1997 that the first scene of the film (a conscription advertisement for the mobile infantry) was adapted shot-for-shot from a scene from Leni Riefenstahl\u2019s <em>Triumph of the Will<\/em>, an outdoor rally for the Reichsarbeitsdienst. Other references to Nazism in the movie include the Gestapo-like uniforms of commanding officers, Albert Speer-style architecture and the propagandistic dialogue. (<em>Violence is the supreme authority!<\/em>)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><em>NOTE: The Elvis Presley movie titled &#8220;Follow That Dream&#8221;\u00a0also deals with common law, claims for land and county jurisdiction over land, bank loans, a &#8220;character\u00a0loan&#8221;, becoming a sheriff, homesteading and the state coming to kidnap the children.
